What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect personal data when you connect to and interact with our site. If you interact with the site and/or request a Health History Consultation, you will be asked for sensitive personal data, such as data concerning health. This will be collected and retained for the purposes of providing you with a tailored service for your highest good. This information will not be shared. 

 By connecting to and using our site, you consent to us processing and using this data in order to provide you with a tailored service, in order to further your user experience, to improve our customer service, to improve our site for your enjoyment, to allow you to interact with myself and the website, to run competitions, promotions, special features or other site features, to send you details of special offers or things that may interest you, to send you emails or newsletters from time to time, if you consent to this (and you may unsubscribe at any time by contacting trionna@hotmail.com), to ensure our site content is presented in the best possible way for you and your computer, to carry out any obligations arising from contracts between you and us and to process transactions. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

 Personal data is captured when you complete a contact form such as name, email address, personal account preferences or any information you supply. We

 keep contact form submissions for a certain period for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

However we do our best to use only trusted sources and welcome any feedback

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We have a variety of security measures to protect your data and it is stored with the utmost of care with your security being the priority but please note that any information you submit through our site is at your own risk.

What data breach procedures we have in place

Any breaches of data will be dealt with immediately and with the customer in mind. There are internal reporting systems to monitor and detect such activity and you will be contacted immediately – either directly or through the site if any such breach occurs.
